can't do the one-shot sting removal

1. One shot requires correct op/ed angles, i.e., both on the edge thread not the sting thread, which is not guaranteed to be correct.
2. worse, if on same edge, there are 2+ clusters, it's hard to determine the op/ed of each cluster and fix them one by one.
